In the beginning...
How did you get here? As an auto enthusiast and subscriber or attendee to an RS Xperience rally is what got you here.
Why am I here? I hope this message finds you well. I'm thrilled to welcome you to the inaugural edition of Andy Papa’s In the Driver’s Seat. My name is Andy Papa, and I'm incredibly excited to embark on this journey with you.
Before we dive into the exciting content I have planned, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about what you can expect from this newsletter. I am still working out the frequency.
I've always been passionate about sports cars and more importantly sports car driving. Whether it's my passion for Porsches and McLarens, or car control experience gained through hours of on track experience, the plethora of driving coaches that have taught me over the years, and the my fondness for mountain drives. I've found immense joy in exploring and sharing insights in this field and helping drivers of all skill levels enhance their driving whether or not they’ve ever been on track. Through this newsletter, I aim to create a space where we can delve deeper into the automotive world with a focus on car control, driving techniques, share valuable resources, and engage in meaningful automotive discussions.
On a personal note, I have enjoyed my time in the right seat and watching the light bulb go off when something I’ve shared makes sense to the diver (I need to do that more often). Then, when I see confidence building with application of learned technique I am consumed with the newfound joy the driver is experiencing. These experiences have shaped my perspective and fueled my desire to create a platform where we can learn, grow, and connect.

As for the RS Xperience newsletter, that will focus primarily on behind the scenes of our rallies, customer spotlights and other rally related events I have been involved in.
